"Al Mulino Del Fortunato" (At The Lucky One's Mill) Farm Holiday Centre is situated in the south of the Garfagnana an area rich in historical, artistic, environmental and tourist sites.

It is in a wide valley bordered on the east by the mountainous chain of the Apennines, and on the west by the Apuan Alps, close to areas of considerable tourist interest such as the Versilia, the Lucca province, Pisa and Florence.

There is an extraordinary variety of environments typical of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines: from fields of blueberries to grassy slopes, fantastic views of the furthest peaks and mountain lakes. The extraordinary region of the Alps Apuan, with its attractive villages, the greenness of its woods and its beautiful caves, is a real haven for so much flora and fauna. There are unforgettable sunsets onto the sea from its summits.

A few kilometres to the south is the splendid city of Lucca with its distinctive historical centre and its extraordinary Walls, four kilometres in length, on which you may either walk or cycle.

The Versilia coast, famous in Italy and Europe for its sunny and well-equipped beaches, is one hour from our centre.
